Things I’ve Seen -Mar 15
Hello friends, this is a weekly look at some interesting things that entered my life. I’m taking a different path this week looking at some television programs I’m watching these days. Hopefully something here will catch your interest as well.

Ride with Norman Reedus: This is a travel show that uses the motorcycle as the perspective and the glue holding the story together. Of course it stars Norman Reedus as the title might suggest. I enjoy seeing different parts of the world with a unique perspective. Norman has a way of interacting with the people and places he encounters that really bring the show up a notch.
Star Trek Discovery: When I say Star Trek you either love it or hate it regardless of what I say next. In fairness I’ve been a fan of Star Trek as far back as I can remember. This series is set in time just before the original series so they’ll be able to touch on the familiar while still being unique. Even if you’re not a fan I suggest giving this one a try. It has an incredible visual style that sets it apart from pretty much everything else. Adding some great stories and actors such as Sonequa Martin-Green and Doug Jones results in a show that shouldn’t be missed.
Whiskey Cavalier: This is a FBI thriller type of show featuring Lauren Cohen and Scott Foley. It’s early but the show is off to a good start. If you like all the trappings of international spies, espionage and adventure then this one should be right up your alley.
The Orville: This is science fiction comedy at its best coming straight from the mind of Seth McFarlane. Seth is joined by Adrianne Palicki, Scott Grimes and many others bringing life to characters and stories with flaws and bad habits we all recognize.
The Walking Dead: This is about a lot more than zombies as they deal with all the inevitable problems after a total collapse of society. Actors such as Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride and Jeffrey Dean Morgan among countless others really keep the characters and their relationships at the forefront of the story over the years.
Take a few moment to check those out when you have some spare time. They’re worth it.
Plus, here are a few honourable mentions getting ready to start new seasons. Technically I’m not watching them right now. Game of Thrones. American Gods. Knightfall. Good Stuff!
It’s a good thing I do most of my work in the morning when these shows don’t distract me.
What’s your favourite show right now?
