3 1/2 Time Management Tips
Do you want magic powers to slow down time? That would be cool! It’s likely better focus on a few basic rules and habits that will help you stay productive.
Here are some tips that keep me on the straight and narrow when I’m trying to get something done.

Tip 1: Remove Distractions
Start by putting down your phone, turning off the ringer, and disabling the social media alerts. Half-assed attention leads to half-assed results.
Being present in the moment gives your brain time to go deep on the details. When you’re engaged your mind will make connections that are difficult to see when you’re jumping around.
You’ll discover things get done faster and better while you retain more information.
Tip 2: Set Artificial Deadlines
Give yourself a margin for error on those times when life gets in the way.
It’s easier to avoid procrastination and you’ll produce the best work when you’re not feeling pressured and strained.
You’ll experience less stress by avoiding last minute panic. You’ve felt it before and it wasn’t good.
Tip 3: Plan Ahead
Get a clear idea of what you want to accomplish in the next hour and before the end of the day by defining your guide posts and your finish line.
A simple checklist will keep your from falling into rabbit holes of un-productive time.
You’ll find it easier to move forward when you can identify how far along the path you are.
Tip 3 1/2:
Set aside time for yourself. You’ll appreciate it.
It can be tricky some days but checklists and deadlines will keep you focusing on the good stuff. Less stress and fewer distractions will give you the time to be creative along the way.
Hopefully you can find a way to make these tips work for you.
